Solving The UK’s Cybersecurity Industry

Recruitment Challenge

The cybersecurity skills shortage is getting worse, with over 2 million roles to be unfilled by 2022, which poses a threat to our national security and businesses.Technical skills gaps are relatively high in each of the following areas: threat assessment or information risk management; assurance, audits, compliance or testing; cyber security research; implementing secure systems; and governance and management.

Reveille Tech are looking to work with partners committed to plugging the security shortfall in the UK.

The Military Solution

Today’s military is highly technical, and many forces personnel have been trained on sophisticated and cutting edge technologies, developed and refined in high-pressure conditions, running on some of the most highly targeted networks in the world. As a result, much of their situational, hands-on experience translates to the challenges faced in cyber security.

To employers looking for talent, this background is extremely valuable because getting experienced and certified professionals can be very difficult given the skills demand in the sector, many of these individuals also possess security clearances, which are not only expensive for private organizations to obtain and maintain, but can also take months to complete.

Why Reveille Tech?

Experience

The senior management team at Reveille Tech have all served in the armed forces, and coupled with the fact that they have been working with service leavers and veterans over the past 6 years in advising on courses and employment routes, are well placed to identify talent leaving the armed forces to assess not just on experience and transferable skills, but also on aptitude and desire to be a success in the Cyber Security Sector.

Resources

We believe in our military colleagues, and with over 15,000 service leavers every year, we can deliver talent who will already have invested in Cyber Security courses as part of their resettlement and are already being targeted and hired by leading management consultancies and information security savvy companies.

Our unique service offering is that we work closely with our clients, identify your on-going needs and resourcing requirements, and we can introduce an exclusive pool of service leavers with InfoSec experience who are into their last 12 months of service, but can leave earlier (2-3 months) with a solid job offer.

Opportunities

There has never been a better time to capitalise on the investment that has already been made in our service personnel.
